Klaviyo pricing is based on number of contacts. A contact is a recipient with an email address or SMS added to their profile. So what is Klaviyo pricing for your recipients list?

Pricing for using Klaviyo starts at $20 if you have more than 250 email contacts. (it’s free if you have less than 250).

If you didn’t know about Klaviyo, it is one of the most known marketing automation platforms.

As we were saying above at the moment of writing this email Klaviyo is charging based on number of contacts.

This means that even that a customer does not open the email or it’s not valid anymore, you’re still charged. You need to set up list cleaning if you don’t want to pay, otherwise you’ll end-up paying for inactive customers.

Is Klaviyo Pricing worth it?

We don’t know and can’t really answer this question for you. But you should ask yourself the following:

  • do I want to pay per contact list size or per usage?
  • do I need to pay to have all integrations that Klaviyo provides?

Pricing may be expensive if you have a very big list, depending on the size of your list and the amount of money you wish to spend on email marketing. But also might be a good price, because email is still a channel with a huge ROI.

But what do you think about paying based on usage, so only pay for how many emails you send? That is charging based on active users rather than list size?
